Dolphins and Incognito

In my last post I said that I was a die heart Husker fan; but I didnt say that I like past players. The one person that I really hate this week is Richie Incognito. Why would you bully your teammate so much, that they would have to leave something that they worked there whole life for.

In my opinion if the agressor was black then they would be in jail. I feel like they are just beating around the bush.

Nebraska Hail Merry Pass

First of all I am a die heart husker fan. I thought we were going to lose. Then RK3 decided to throw a hail marry into the endzone and a husker caught it. All my family could do is scream at the top of our lungs. Out of all the football games I have watched, I have never seen this kind of play in my life. The one thing that I loved about that play was that all the sports and news stations replayed the play over and over again.

GO HUSKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Professional Growth: résumés, internships, etc.

During this lunch and learn, I was able to find out about what I need to do in college to be successful in the next three years. The first thing that we talked about was a tentative outline for what we should do as college students during our four years. One thing that stood out to me was that I will be able to graduate in four years and that I can take classes in the summer, instead of trying to cram all the credits in the two semesters.
Another thing that I love about ACDC is that they have so many resources, for so many different things. For example, after the presentation I had questions about whom I should talk to gain information about internships and/or job shadowing for psychology. I was able to get a whole list of contacts. I was very surprised that they were able to help me and at a reasonable period. I was so use to having to wait for weeks and weeks, just to get a reply.

A few weeks ago, I went to their office to talk about what different career choices I have with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. I learned that there are so many different opportunities and jobs I could have with a double major. In the near future, I will be going back to their office to get help on starting my college resume.
